Description

Engravings on 23 ¾ carat pure gold. Tuscan landscape painting depicting a medieval castle in cobalt blue with a countryside of wild flowers and sunflowers. This painting by Silvia Salvadori is intended as a tribute to the wild nature typical of the month of June in Tuscany. An explosion of colours characterises this painting where the Renaissance returns with the flowering meadows painted by Beato Angelico and Botticelli in Primavera. From the sunflower fields rises a majestic medieval Tuscan castle. The golden road leading to the castle symbolises a new golden dawn, the Golden Dawn, a reference to the Egyptian god Horus, symbol of rebirth and change, also represented by the golden sun rising above the castle. Tuscan landscape painting with elements of early Renaissance art on a gold background.
