Tuscan countryside landscape

Tuscan landscape painted according to ancient painting techniques of the early Renaissance Sienese school.   The landscape in abstract style with pure colours opens onto a Sienese countryside characterised by hills, cypresses and a clear sky painted in cobalt blue. The dove in pure gold in the centre of the scene illuminates the sky of a countryside with summer colours where the wheat fields are moved by the wind. This painting is intended as a homage to Tuscany.  Measurements: 64 x 54 cm
