Renaissance Geometries Series    Tempera on pure gold ground 23 ¾ K.   Painting by Silvia Salvadori executed with the ancient painting technique of the Tuscan school of the early Renaissance.  Engraved on pure gold with burin. Antique poplar wood panel.  The young woman with long golden hair recalls Botticelli's painting. The dress is composed of fragments of fabric that recall ancient decorations found in Florentine Renaissance Madonnas.  Pure gold embellishes the sumptuous brocade robe. The Tuscan Renaissance is revived in a modern key in each work by Silvia Salvadori.  The Tuscan landscape in the background blends perfectly into the composition and the naturalistic elements themselves have been painted using ancient pigments from Cennino Cennini's palette.
